Welder
Precision Tig Welder: We are a recognized leader in the repair and overhaul of components for aircraft turbine engines. We are seeking motivated candidates for this position which involves manual and automatic Tig welding, spot welding, and resistance seam welding. Experience in manual Tig welding is preferred.
Job Duties for Precision Tig Welder:
- Prepare and weld sheet metal aircraft components.
- Use manual and automatic DC inverter Tig welding equipment.
- Use resistance spot and seam welding equipment. Measure, examine, and test completed parts in order to ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments such as calibers and micrometers.
- Follow work instructions, manufacturer’s maintenance and overhaul manuals, specifications, Service Bulletins, Air Carrier’s maintenance manuals or other approved FAA data to ensure proper outcome of repair.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and intersections.
- Performs regular and preventative maintenance on equipment and tools.
- May also fabricate or modify fixtures, applying knowledge shop mathematics, metal working, and layout.
Qualifications for Precision Tig Welder:
- Must have prior experience in precision Tig welding
- Must be self-motivated and have good organizational and communication skills.
- Must possess successful track record of achieving operational goals in a highly competitive, fast paced and unpredictable production environment.
- Must read/write and interpret English.
- Machining background and above average mechanical aptitude are helpful.
- Must be able to work first shift ranging from 6:00am – 4:30pm
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS FAA/DOT INITIAL AND RANDOM DRUG AND ALCOHOL TESTS ALONG WITH FULL BACKGROUND SCREENING

Precision Finish Grinder
Precision Finisher Grinder/Polisher: We are a recognized leader in the repair and overhaul of components for turbine engines. We are seeking motivated candidates for this position which involves set up and operating of manual and pneumatic hand tools to prepare, finish, and grind surfaces of precision sheet metal aircraft engine components and parts. Experience as an auto body technician or with mechanical experience is a plus but no previous experience needed.
Job Duties for Precision Finisher Grinder/Polisher:
- Restore metal components by operating electric/air powered hand tools.
- Measure, examine, and test completed parts in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Uses OEM prints and design sketches to ensure proper outcome of repair.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- May also fabricate to modify fixtures and maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal working, layout, grit blasting and cleaning procedures.
Qualifications for Precision Finisher Grinder/Polisher:
- Must be good with hand tools.
- Must be self-motivated and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

Machinist
Machinist: We are a recognized leader in the repair and overhaul of components for turbine engines. We are seeking motivated candidates for this position which involves set up and operating of manual lathes and bridgeports, Fadal, and Okuma to machine surfaces of precision sheet metal aircraft engine components and parts. Would be ideal for someone with tool making experience.
Job Duties for Machinist:
- Restore metal components by operating manual lathes, Bridgeports, Fadal and Okuma.
- Measure, examine, and test completed parts in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Uses OEM prints and design sketches to ensure proper outcome of repair.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- May also fabricate or modify fixtures and maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal working, layout, lapping and cleaning procedures.
- Become fully trained and fluent on all parts with all machines.
- Follow Atech’s FAA and AS9110 Quality System.
- Repair customer parts with care, craftsmanship and quality in a timely manner in order to meet the production schedule.
- Machine parts using required fixtures in accordance with the manufacturer’s technical data and company procedures.
- Work in other areas as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and comply with all preventative maintenance schedules.
Qualifications for Machinist:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Must be good with all measuring devices including CMM both portable and stationary.
- Must be self-motivated and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Must possess successful track record of achieving operational goals in a highly competitive, fast-paced and unpredictable production environment.
- Must read/write and interpret English.

Thermal Spray Operator
Thermal Spray Operator: We are a recognized leader in the repair and overhaul of components for turbine engines. We are seeking motivated candidates for this position which involves set up and operate manual and electronic robots, blast & finish surfaces of precision sheet metal aircraft engine components and parts. Experience as an auto body technician or with mechanical experience is a plus but no previous experience needed.
Job Duties for Thermal Spray Operator:
- Preparation of metal components by masking in preparation for metal spraying by robots.
- Restore metal components by operating robots.
- Measure, examine, and test completed parts in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Uses OEM prints and design sketches to ensure proper outcome of repair.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- May also fabricate or modify fixtures and maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal working, layout, grit blasting and cleaning procedures.
